The Chamber is the quarterly publication of AORTA, published to coincide with the four temperaments of the Tradition. The Chamber is a registered publication with the South African National Library, thus officially providing the title of “published author” to our contributors. The objective is to showcase both South African and international astrologers who produce articles of the highest standard, addressing topics relevant to the Tradition of astrology. The Chamber is an educational tool and astrologers are able to derive great benefit from original and well researched articles which highlight traditional methodologies and philosophies. The lectures presented by AORTA members during the year are transcribed and included in The Chamber as full length articles. AORTA welcomes the submission of articles from all astrologers of the Tradition.

Two one-day workshops are hosted annually, providing a minimum of 8 lectures a year. The workshops consist of a study-group format and the participation of delegates is encouraged. The individual lectures are available to download as an audio from the web site, but this facility is available only to AORTA members and constitutes one of the membership benefits. Non members pay ZAR1000 to attend each event. The Power Point presentations presented at the workshops accompany the audios on the web site. The lectures are uploaded to the web site within two weeks of the event.
