Membership Criteria

• While AORTA welcomes members who are either not astrologers or who practice different disciplines these members will not be invited to lecture at meetings nor will they be asked to contribute to the magazine. The essence of other astrological disciplines is different to the essence of The Tradition and this group is strictly for the promotion of The Tradition of astrology.
• A membership application needs to be completed and membership approval is required from the board.
• All members who are astrologers of The Tradition will be encouraged to contribute: to write for the magazine and on occasion to present a lecture. This should not be viewed as intimidating as these requests will be made based on the level of skill of the person in question.
• An annual fee of ZAR500 is payable upon joining and is to be renewed at the end of each financial year in February. AORTA reserves the right to increase the fee when it becomes applicable.
• Members will familiarise themselves with the Memorandum of AORTA as well as with the Code of Ethics and the Terms and Conditions of Membership.
