Two one-day workshops are currently hosted per year, comprising of 4 lectures each. The format is that of a study-group and the Q&A sessions allow sufficient time to address all questions. This encourages interaction and assists delegates in gaining sound astrological knowledge. Lecturers are qualified astrologers of the Tradition and topics should appeal to both astrologers and non astrologers alike. Some lectures are more technical than others so it is best for non astrologers to confirm the level of astrological content in advance. Content is well researched and presented in Power Point format and the lectures are published in The Chamber at a later stage. AORTA members who do not reside in Johannesburg can download the lecture from the web site. For those who live in Johannesburg, the workshops are an opportunity to raise questions on the topics, to network and to socialise. The workshops are held on a Saturday at Doonholm Nursery. This wholesale nursery is not currently open to the public, so this affords attendees an opportunity to view these magnificent herb gardens, while enriching their minds. You do not have to be a traditional astrologer to benefit from these lectures, although the content will always pertain to the Tradition. All questions are welcome post lecture during the Q&A session and are addressed in an appropriate manner. Immaterial of your astrological (or non astrological) leanings or your level of astrological skill, no subject matter is taboo. 23 October 2010: 1 day Workshop
